Rhode Island toll bridge

The Claiborne Pell Bridge[1], commonly known as the Newport Bridge[2] is a suspension bridge operated by the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority[3]. It is the only toll facility in the state of Rhode Island. The bridge connects the City of Newport and the town of Jamestown on Conanicut Island.

The discounted two-axle vehicle toll for Rhode Island residents on the Pell Bridge is $0.83. To qualify for a discount plan, you must use a RITBA issued E-ZPass[4] and your 2-axle vehicle must be less than 7,000 lbs. GVW (gross vehicle weight). Toll charges for using the bridge are $2.00 per axle for cash/credit card or E-ZPass (non-resident).

The toll calculator does not display tolls for discounts or for frequent user plans.
