Francis Scott Key Bridge
The Francis Scott Key Bridge [2], also known as the Outer Harbor Bridge or simply the Key Bridge spans the Patapsco River in Baltimore. The 1,200 feet long bridge carries close to 11.5 million vehicles annually. Like other bridges, the Key Bridge toll facility is operated by the Maryland Transportation Authority.
The Chesapeake Bay Bridge
The Chesapeake Bay Bridge[3] (commonly known as the “Bay Bridge”) and officially as Gov. William Preston Lane, Jr. Memorial Bridge [4] is a major dual-span facility. Spanning the Chesapeake Bay, it connects the state’s rural Eastern Shore region with the urban Western Shore. The original 4.3 miles long span opened in 1952 was the world’s longest continuous over-water steel structure. The parallel span was added in 1973.
Governor Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge
The Governor Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge [5], also known as the Potomac River Bridge, is a 1.7-mile, spans the Potomac River connects Maryland with Virginia. The bridge serves as bypass for Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area and frequently congested roads such as I-95, I-495 (Capital Beltway), and the Woodrow Wilson Bridge to the north.

Fort McHenry Tunnel
